|Making memories in the Medulla Oblongata~

I check my watch regularily. It occasionally rings, although it's neither new, nor classy. Its ordinary; most often silent but still bothersome. Like myself, it collects wrists to grasp onto until time tires. Very forward in its misery, it joins the other retired wrist watches in the slender cabinet parallel to the sofa where it does not engage in any conversation nor does it participate in the look out for menacing ticks.

The shag carpet beneath my feet is drenched and has already succeeded to soak through and ruin my socks. I could never blame the shag of course. Shags are meant to get a girl wet...
